The Junior Detective Training Program is a 7-week program to develop social skills. It includes computer game and group sessions. Emotion recognition, emotion regulation, theory of mind and social interaction are teach through small scenarios in wich children is a secret agent. They have to identify the characters’s feelings from various cues (verbal, non verbal, environnemental). Sessions with peers allow children to apply what they learned to situations similar to real life. Beaumont and Sofronoff (2008) show that Junior Detective Training Program improves social skills of children with Asperger syndrome. Fore more information : Beaumont, R., & Sofronoff, K. (2008).
